In a totally different direction, but more in keeping with the traditional patterns, this bag is hand crocheted in a beaded net pattern. It is embellished with fine hand crocheted lace and features draw strings tipped with glass beads. The lining is a beautiful lemon yellow brocade.
It is a little larger than the brown pouch I featured yesterday, so it would fit not only a cellphone, but some credit cards, ID and a little cash as well. It would be a perfect alternative to a handbag for an evening out or when you just dont want to carry around anything too big or too heavy.

ReplyDeleteThat is just lovely! I know what you mean about being born too late. My artwork has Old World charm but there is still a great appreciation for it, which always makes my day. You have a wonderful talent!
